Dear Friends of the Bay Ridge Waterfront,
We're pleased to announce a series of free waterfront events at the American Veterans Memorial Pier at 69th St. this summer, sponsored by Council Member Gentile and Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance, working with the Department of Parks and Recreation. A flyer is attached that you're welcome to share about the program this week,

Please join us this Sunday for
Dad’s Day on the Pier
Sunday, June 21
American Veterans Memorial Pier, 69th St., Bay Ridge
11am to 5pm
(Rain or shine)

A festival of free activities celebrating Father’s Day, including:
-Mini Golf with maritime obstacles
-Test Your Strength with Sailor Striker
-Float Your Boat to build and “sea-trial” a foil ship
-Family-friendly crafts

Volunteers are needed for 3 hour shifts to help organize the crafts and games. All materials are provided. Please support your waterfront community and sign up to volunteer by clicking here:http://goo.gl/forms/zFD4x0HLMt

Other events will take place about once a month, including themes of Brooklyn Waterfront History and the Arts.  You'll receive emails about them through this same email list.  There will not be boat rides at first, but boat rides will return in the future.  In the meantime, enjoy the Bay Ridge Waterfront with free, family friendly activities on the pier!

Thank you and hope to see you there,
