Good morning,

The Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs (MOIA) would like to reach out to you regarding President Obama’s recent Executive Action announcements, particularly on the two Deferred Action programs, DACA and DAPA.

1. Top 10 Facts You Need to Know About Executive Action
Our new outreach flyer is attached for you to print and distribute to your communities.  Translated versions of the flyers will be out very soon in Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Bengali, and Haitian Creole (with more languages to follow).  If you would like full color copies mailed to your office, please email askmoia@cityhall.nyc.gov with the subject heading “Deferred Action Flyer Request.”  Don’t forget to include what languages and the approximate number of flyers you need.

2. Citywide Executive Action Calendar
Many of you are already hosting info sessions, workshops and clinics about executive action or DAPA/DACA.  MOIA now has a public calendar that will display your events to the public and show community members where they can go in their neighborhood to learn more about executive action.  If you would like your organization’s event info to be included on the calendar, please email the following information to EAcalendar@cityhall.nyc.gov with the subject heading: “NYC EA Calendar.”
