Handmade History! Arts and Crafts at the Brooklyn Historical SocietyThrough December 14

        As part of its 150th birthday celebration, the Brooklyn Historical Society is kicking off this series of arts-and-crafts sessions, each of which explores history as it teaches hands-on building processes. November features Clues, Collecting and Collage!   Learn about NYC buildings and create your own collage. Students must be accompanied by their parents; siblings of all ages are welcome to join in. Recommended for ages five to 10. Admission free for children under 12. The event is held on the second Saturday of the month, 3 p.m .– 4 p.m. at the Brooklyn Historical Society, 128 Pierrepont Street, Brooklyn Heights, New York.
