HUMAN TRAFFICKING WORKSHOP LABOR AND SEX TRAFFICKING |
|
| Human trafficking occurs when a trafficker uses force, fraud or coercion to control another person for the purpose of engaging in commercial sex acts or soliciting labor or services against his/her will. Victims of human trafficking can be men or women, adults or children, and U.S. citizens or foreign-born immigrants. It‘s a hidden crime that many victims are fearful to seek help for or come forward to report their traffickers.
What is the impact of human trafficking in the community? The Healing Center invites you to be part of this very important discussion.
