I 'm excited to note that the renovation is complete for the new food pantry Digital Choice Method. As mentioned, our participants can still choose their food as before, but now they will just need to go up to our touchscreens and pick the food items best for their dietary needs.

The wonderful thing is that we can now meet up with the challenge of increasing numbers of families seeking our assistance and it all can be done in half the time than before.

As we wait to raise enough funds for the actual Digital System, we will manage as best as possible until the system can be purchased.

The system will cost $5200, and we had so far raised 1,000 received from a wonderful woman and a friend of RCS from Bay Ridge.

We will be the third organization in New York that will have this system for emergency food pantry services, once again, I mention this technological advancement only enables us to meet the increasing demand for services, and enable us to operate much more efficiently with less needed staff, and at times not enough help becomes a big problem.
When this method is in place and operating, we would love to invite our community friends and supporters to see how efficient and cost-effective this will be for us ow and in the future.
