Class 720 Performs Scenes from the To Kill A Mockingbird Screenplay

Class 720 did not want to just read the To Kill A Mockingbird screenplay by Harper Foote, they wanted to bring it to life and perform it! With the guidance of their ELA teacher, Ms. Cara Refano, they practiced for days and memorized the lines of their famous characters including, Atticus, Jem and Scout. They performed scenes that they believed were significant or memorable. Their first performance was for Ms. Greenberg in the library. They did an encore for Ms. Witek and Dr. Melucci the next week. All of the adults were shocked at the students’ ability to not only memorize the lines, but their ability to act out the scenes without ever seeing the famous film! Congratulations to 720 and their love of literature and creativity.
