Fourth Annual Choral and Arts Festival for Peace in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn

"Members from the new Pershing Chorus participated Saturday January 31st in the Fourth Annual Choral and Arts Festival for Peace in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.  This year's festival was in honor of Nobel Peace Prize recipient, Malawa Yousafzai  The students, all in the 7th grade, sang three songs, "Unwritten" by N. Bedingfield, "Colors of Winter" by L. Brownsey, and a song from central Africa with drum accompaniment.  Students and their families enjoyed refreshments and collaborative art projects afterwards.
